February 12, 2010: 31Hex Announces Availability of LogoTrace

31Hex, Inc. announces the availability of its flagship product, LogoTrace, for licensing and integration into applications that require fast, accurate detection of logos found in scanned or captured images.

LogoTrace utilizes proprietary algorithms that quickly analyze an detect logos in images. Key features of the product include: A learning mode that creates an XML-based template for the selected logo on the document – in any orientation; the algorithms can be run on a full or windowed image; run the algorithms on a single image or a full database of images; Up to 64,000 logos can be selected for recognition prior to running LogoTrace; Location information is provided such as the virual center of the logo, the four corners and the top of the logo; a customizable text string for each logo; and automatic illumination variation detection.

LogoTrace eliminates the need to manual place bar codes on documents prior to sortation and scanning with document imaging devices. Other applications include indexing databases of previously scanned files, find/replace logos found in images, or search for logos from a server or database.

A 90-day trial package is available for evaluation. The trial package comes with full documentation, a Windows-based Demonstration package that allows you to open image files, select/create templates and recognize/detect logos found in images.
